About Your Chef

Leigh believes her passion for cooking is inherited. She is a third generation chef following in the footsteps of her mother and grandmother before her.

At the family-owned restaurant in Italy, the inscription above the door reads, “Food Is The Only Gift That Truly Nourishes.” In keeping with this idea, her parents honed their craft to a fine art and began teaching Leigh when she was barely tall enough to see over the kitchen prep table.

Leigh began her cooking career sitting in the corner of the kitchen practicing the proper way to clean mushrooms. Graduating to the level of “Dull Knife – Dull Chef,” was a milestone.

Leigh has cooked in restaurants around the world and wears her passion and experience for cooking as a badge of honor. She has also worked as a Private Chef and has a cooking school in the Los Angeles area where she gives lessons.

Leigh believes one of the greatest joys in life is sitting around the dining table with family and friends enjoying a sumptuous meal.
